At All-Nations, we have identified three pairs of core values. See previous posts about Tradition and Innovation: embracing our Anabaptist heritage, acknowledging its values and strengths, while stepping forward boldly to take new territory in Jesus’ name; and Humility and Confidence: Prayerfully dependent on God, acknowledging our inadequacy and the impossibility of the vision, yet assured of God’s call to make disciples of Jesus in every nation and to equip his people for the task.
The third pair of core values is Collaboration and Conviction: Working together with others, acknowledging that we are not called to work alone, but willing to stand alone for values that honor our Lord Jesus and His Word.
Working with Others
We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with Anabaptist organizations such as Christian Aid Ministries. We are also thankful for insights we gain from ministries such as Ethnos360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) and training from Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL). Working with others who support our vision, even when they don’t share all of our values, helps us fill our role more effectively.

Standing for Godly Values
We care about obeying the teachings of Jesus and all the Bible, including those not often practiced by Christians around us. Here are a few examples:
- Love for enemies and returning good for evil
- Separation from politics, patriotism, and war
- God’s headship order and the woman’s veiling
All-Nations teams are sent by Anabaptist churches to teach “the whole counsel of God” and lead indigenous believers to “observe all things” taught by Jesus and the Scriptures. We desire to continue standing firmly within the legacy of the historic pilgrim church.
