An All-Nations field member discusses his journey from childhood with limited exposure to missions to joining a team in Colombia as a New Testament translator. Along the way he gained experience overseas teaching school and traveling to different countries. He shares some of the uncertainties, difficulties and possibilities that developed as he pursued the path on which that God was him. Ultimately God opened doors for him to team with another family translating the Word of God for a people group in Colombia.

In this interview, an All-Nations literacy coach begins by describing what we mean by literacy and the importance of it in a Bible translation project. With stories and examples, she describes the essential role a literacy program plays in planting an indigenous church, even among a primarily oral language community.
