Suffering and the Great Commission — Val Yoder

In this message Val talks about the role of suffering in the believer's life. What is Christ asking believers to do? It is to be people who are dead to themselves. People willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

"All that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution". The trademark of Christianity is persecution. Persecution is not a grumpy neighbor or a traffic accident. The ungodly experience those things. This persecution is directly related to the Christian's identifying with the Lord Jesus Christ and they are to leap for joy when they experience it!
