Community development facilitator
What is community development?
The community using God-given resources to meet its own needs
Community development philosophy:
God gives abilities to every person.
God gives resources to every community.
We serve the community by teaching them to develop and use their skills and resources, and not to depend on what we do and bring.
People groups without the Bible are often in situations like this:
- in extreme poverty
- oppressed by others
- taken advantage of
- displaced from their homeland
or may have attitudes like this:
- resistant to outsiders
- antagonistic to the gospel
Become Jesus' hands and feet ministering to them.
Open the door for Bible translation and church planting.
