The All-Nations Camp Week of 2026 was a flying success! This was the second year that my wife and I were able to attend. We found it very refreshing to interact with the other missionary families at camp and to hear the stories of what God is doing in their parts of the world. The different sessions each day had lots of inspiring content. A few phrases that caught my attention were:
“Do you really believe that the day will go different if you pray?”
“Reading the Bible is a little like combing your hair – it aligns our thought and ideas with God and it straightens out the mess in our lives.”
“A mistake doesn’t have to be a major setback.”
“When you come to the end of your life, what will you find in your hand? Will it be something more than the wind?”
One day a speaker mentioned that we can sit around and talk for hours about our problems, but that what we really need to do is to stop and pray about them. I was blessed to see a group of men do just that. As they were sitting and discussing some difficult things in their lives, one of the brothers said, “Why don’t we just stop and pray about it?” Various times throughout the week I would see people praying spontaneously for each other. I am inspired to put that into practice in my life.
One afternoon, the ladies had a special session together with a time of prayer and sharing. My wife enjoyed that refreshing time of more personal sharing as sisters.
The great commission Jesus gave us is being fulfilled, people are going to the uttermost parts of the world. But there is still a need for more laborers. Will you go? Jesus said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few.1”
