We are excited to announce a new resource: the Church Planting Course is now available!
Visit cpcourse.allnationsbt.org/user/register to sign up.
The Church Planting Course was beta tested by many of our partnering churches and teams in 2023. After revision based on their rigorous review and feedback—and some delays beyond our control—we are grateful to offer it as a resource in the journey of cross-cultural church planting.
The course is a compilation of teachings and case studies. Presenters include Dale Heisey, Elisha Byler, Phil Henderson of Ethnos360, Merle Burkholder, Joe Root, Allen Roth, and Earl Peachey. We have attempted to build on the foundation of the Scriptures, drawing from the experience of Anabaptist church planting efforts past and present, while augmenting the course with material from other sources.
Participants spend between two and eleven hours completing each of the eight modules, in addition to engaging in group discussion of each module’s content. We expect it to take eight months to a year for a group to work through the course together.
Our hope is that the Church Planting Course can serve as one more “tool in the toolbox,” helping equip churches and teams to establish and support sustainable churches that remain rooted in the Lord Jesus and Scripture. May God use this resource to encourage the spread of His kingdom.
