A Square with Three Points

Take a look at the relationship square below. This square is a simplified representation of ABT’s relationship to sending churches and the Bible translation and church planting process.

The relationship square illustrates three main points:

  1. 1. ABT and sending churches are in a partnership.
  2. 2. ABT is responsible for Bible translation; sending churches are responsible for church planting.
  3. 3. Bible translation and church planting are a joint project of one team.

Sending churches serve as the primary support team behind each team member. Typically, when there are multiple sending churches, one of them will lead out in providing guidance to the church-planting team.

ABT equips churches to send, and teams to go, where there is little or no translated Scripture. How can a people learn to follow Jesus if they can’t read His Word? How would your church function without access to His Word?

All-Nations Bible Translation exists because we believe that faithfulness in Bible translation and church planting can contribute to the end goal of a maturing indigenous church. Lord, let it be!

Why Bible translation? Because Scripture in the mother tongue is foundational to a maturing church.
