Culture and Language: From Training to Fluency

Culture and Language: From Training to Fluency – Tarahumara Project

“If our goal is people living out the word of God, then our teams need to focus on learning the culture and language of the local community. I believe that, and at All Nations, we do believe it’s a foundation our ministry must be built on.”

With illustrations, engaging personal stories, and photos based on his family’s experience among the Tarahumara people, David stresses the need to immerse oneself in both the language and culture of the people. Effectiveness in ministry comes through observation, then investigation, and finally participation in the everyday experiences of the people.
