It’s been over a year now that we’ve been laboring and at times we’ve found ourselves wondering—will this project ever really happen? Finally, it is actually happening. Praise the Lord!
After multiple challenges related to building code requirements, architects that didn’t have our project prioritized, and finally Covid-19 causing the last review of our building plans to be delayed, we are actually seeing visible progress.
December, 2019: excavation began after obtaining footer and foundation permit
Jan-Feb, 2019: poured footer and foundation after completing plumbing under slab
March, 2020: excavation for and construction of cistern required by Code for fire protection
June 10, 2020: after a couple delays, the framing crew arrived and things are moving ahead again
In the not too distant future we hope to see plumbing and electrical completed. We appreciate your interest!
