THE BIBLE SAYS HE WILL INHERIT ALL NATIONS.
I was reading in Psalm 82 this morning and a few verses stood out to me.
“Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Deliver the poor and needy; rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness.”
Then skipping down to the last verse it says, “Arise, O God, judge the Earth; for Thou shalt inherit All Nations.”
To me this looks like a blanket statement of what is going to happen. There are no exclusion clauses that say it may not work in some situations because there are big bureaucratic governments in the way. It will not work because it is too hard to get a visa. It will not work because foreigners are not allowed to access that people group. It will not work because there is malaria in that region. It will not work because that language is too difficult to crack. It will not work because Islam is too strong in that region. It will not work because my sending church does not share the vision. It will not work because I do not yet have a team. It will not work because I just cannot learn Greek or Hebrew. It will not work because I cannot get along with my teammate. It will not work because there is so much fighting among that people group. No, there are no exceptions or excuses. These difficulties are just part of the adventure along the way, and when God has overcome the difficulties, they will make Him look that much more impressive.
The Bible says He will inherit All Nations.
