State-side
- Finishing annual reviews with the sending churches we partner with
- Safety and good progress in the building project, and timeliness in the final paperwork
- Working with the editing team to finish the apologetics film
- The annual Board and Advisors meeting January 3-4
- Planning the 2020 All-Nations church tour
- God’s provision of a qualified brother to serve as executive assistant starting in 2020
On the Field
- Protection for the Flory’s and Hege’s as they travel to southern Mexico this month. The Mixtec team receiving literacy orientation the first week of January.
- Exploratory trips in southern Colombia and the surrounding jungle, gathering more information on real Bible translation and church planting opportunities.
- A peaceful resolution to the explosive Mayangna land crisis situation, and that they would turn to God.
- The LS and MN families in Indonesia are working through some tangles of getting the local foundation started. (Sungai)
- Refreshment for the CS family in the States, and successful transition to a village closer to the city where they will be leading the Madara Old Testament translation project.
- An All-Nations team seriously exploring partnership with a family serving the Tarahumara people of northern Mexico
- A team we have connected with in the Middle East as they evaluate the translation need among a displaced people group
